  CCIM Representation

Why is CCIM representation important to your next commercial real estate transaction?

This designation demonstrates expertise in the field of commercial and investment real estate.  A broker with a CCIM designation is in an elite group, comprised of less that 1% of commercial real estate practitioners world-wide.  Recognized for its preeminence within the industry, CCIM represents an extensive educational achievement that covers the following disciplines:  financial analysis, market analysis, user-decision analysis and advanced investment analysis for commercial investment real estate.  Following completion of required coursework — which is offered at metropolitan areas around the U.S. and Canada — candidates must submit a portfolio of closed transactions and/or consultations showing a depth of experience in the field and commercial transaction volume, currently $10 million. After fulfilling these requirements, candidates sit a comprehensive half-day examination. Upon passing this exam, candidates are awarded their CCIM designation.

Coldwell Banker Commercial/Wachholz & Company has two CCIM brokers, David Stone and Dave Girardot. This provides our commercial division with a level of expertise superior to other brokerages in Northwest Montana.

A CCIM commercial broker is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor and user.  The CCIM network provides access to professional resources, and facilitates relationships with other brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, and commercial lenders.  CCIMs have access to an outstanding suite of online tools, including the Site To Do Business — offering leading-edge mapping, demographic and analytical resources. Additionally, only CCIM members have the ability to display sale and lease information on CCIMNet, a leading national commercial property exchange.
